show opens in less than a week, (or is it a week)
working with david has been quite a good learning experience so far.
there are many techniques i will surly steal from him when i work on my shows, the first is a magic sheet specifically for moving lights. and not just were they are on the grid, but more were they are focused per act. i find that its a bit confusing to do it by act, so what i might do when i use it in my shows, is, i will do it by pallet. but then again on my show we will only be dealing with 5 moving lights, not 80, so it will be alto more manageable. but none the less when dealing with a show that wont have so many live moves it makes sense to organize it this way.
dont know why i never thought of it before...
